Prayer is the single most powerful, most effective, and most productive thing that we can do. We can prepare as much as we possibly can by human standards for any given situation, whether its a job interview, a relationship, finances, or direction. However, all of this work and preparation can still fail us because the reality is we have no power, no control over any aspect of our lives. That is not the case for our Heavenly Father. He is the creator of our universe. He spoke everything that we know into existence; the very earth shakes at his presence, so why do we not present everything in our lives to Him? Why do we allow ourselves to worry or stress about any aspect of our lives, as if we can change it or control it? I like to use the example of a job interview. We can study the interests of the individual conducting the interview, learning about their background and hobbies, to try to find some common ground during the interview. We can present the ultimate resume, with the perfect experience and education for the job, and we can give the most "perfect" response to every question and scenario that the interviewer presents to us. We can do all of this and still not get the job. However, we can pray to God, asking Him for favor in the interview if the job is in line with His will for our life, we can trust that the outcome is in His hands and not stress or worry in the slightest. We can proceed to speak nonsense during the interview, blowing it in every aspect we can fathom, but through God's blessing, we can walk out of the interview with a job in hand. This is just a small example of the way we should rely on God.

Hope

Gain Strength

In our prayer sessions, we will use our faith to enter into our Heavenly Father's presence, enjoying His peace, His power, and His ability to work in our lives.

Faith

Grow Spiritually

Develop your spiritual life through shared prayer experiences and witness the miracles of faith unfolding in your life. We encourage you to share your testimonies and miracles, no matter how "big" or "small" they may appear to you. I firmly believe that one of the reasons that God answers our prayers as we ask to increase our faith, or the faith of those around us. This does not mean that God is a genie that gives us our every desire, but He does move on our behalf.

Our Mission of Prayer

Belief in Prayer

PRAYER! By Faith and Faith Alone We Live is dedicated to offering a free service for individuals to book prayer appointments, emphasizing the significance of prayer in our daily lives. Prayer, in my opinion, is the single most impactful, beneficial, and powerful thing that we can do on any given day. I firmly stand behind the idea that our prayer life is a direct reflection of what we believe about god. Is he good? Can he provide for us? Will he provide for us? Does he care? Is he actually in control? Is he really all-powerful? We can say yes to all of these. We could also be unsure of them, or maybe do not believe them at all. However, our actions prove what we believe in our hearts, beyond what we might claim to believe, by how dedicated we are to prayer. god is not a wishing well, he is not a magical genie, and he is not here to serve us. If these things were true i would probably be rich beyond measure and living some kind of fantasy life! Although you may not know me, I can assure you that this is far from the truth. My life is blessed, god has truly revealed Himself in my life, and he always answers my prayers, just not always in the ways that I expect. Sometimes i get a no, sometimes I get a yes, sometimes the answer is not yet. Sometimes, though, the answer is not clear, sometimes it feels as though he is not listening, he is not answering, he is not coming through. But what happens in these times? We pray harder, we lean into god more, and the result? We spend more time alone with god, we learn to rely on him more. Mathew 3:1 talks about John the Baptist preaching in the desert. The Greek word used here is eremo, and interestingly enough, eremos, desert, also means a desolate place in which god reveals Himself to us. Sometimes the answer to our prayers is god revealing Himself to us in our desert. Personally, I strive to pray over every aspect of every day of my life. I believe that our prayer life should be an open dialogue with God that is without end. There are no magic words; everyone has the same ability to enter into God's presence. We are simply offering a community where believers can gather and support each other, strengthening each other's faith through our testimonies, giving God thanks and glory for every aspect of our lives, and seeking His guidance and aid when we need it.
